About The Deep Development Foundation
Deep Change, Lasting Impact
Our Story
The Deep Development Foundation (DDF) was first established on November 7th, 2008, with four founding trustees: Liginiko Musa Chale, John John Mike, Jackline Kwiha Chale, and Deogratius Moses Alphonce.
Today in 2025, we continue our mission with three dedicated trustees: Liginiko Musa Chale, Jackline Kwiha Chale, and Veronika Liginiko Chale, leading our efforts to create sustainable change in communities across Tanzania.

To empower communities by fastening sustainable developments creating opportunities for growth and addressing social inequalities with compassion, innovation, and a deep commitment to lasting change.

Our Aims
To promote sustainable agriculture development and environmental management
To promote social, economic and cultural development activities and services
To campaign and create awareness of environmental conservation and protection in urban and rural communities
To assist community based rural development programs
To campaign for child care services and kindergarten schools in rural and urban communities
To help orphans, aged and disabled people by providing necessary services like food, shelter and clothes
To promote welfare of the society and all other legal means that may be applicable or relevant to the society
